It is difficult to start when you have taken so many nice photos from this fantastic town London.
As you could have read in Jenpedler.fotopages.com, we met in in London and had a great time together with rain and sun typical British weather...

So, you went to London. Thats one very familiar place to me. I'll try Jen's fp as well. She will like my North Wales series. Sun 16-Oct-2005 19:38

ROMANIC PARISH CHURCH ST. PANTALEON IN COLOGNE

View all 15 photos...
Welcome in a more than 1000 years old basilica!

Romanic Style

In history of art the first common occidental epoch (950-1250) is called Romanic. Formal elements of this art style originate from antique roman architecture, e.g. arch, columns, vault, others are taken from the medieval Carolingian (750-900) and Staufian period (12-13 th century.)

History of architecture

In 980 this church was built and consecrated by the arc bishop of Cologne, St. Bruno, as a part of a Benedictine monastery.

During the visit of the Pope in Cologne i saw this beautiful basilica in TV and i went to St. Pantaleon when i have been the next time in Cologne to take some pictures.
