Mohammed, you are right - Nadjeschda is Russian, the short form is Nadja and the meaning is "hope" - one of the St. Paul's virtues (besides believe and love).
My father-in-law is from Kiev, and to remember the roots of our family we have chosen to give our childs Russian and Croatian (mother-in-law) first names (Nadjeschda Nera and Nikolai Miroslav).
I see my children every day, but these pictures are really good shots of them. As parents you have seldom the time to wait for good lighting conditions for pictures.

FROSTY SUNNY MORNING

We have had nearly 10 days without sun, only with fog and rain. And it was so wonderful to see the sun again and the glittering frosty crystals...

Perhaps you have noticed I am always fascinated of iron constructions like here in the Cologne station.
When i was waiting for the train after my last visit in Cologne I was lucky to see the station in a fantastic sunshine which intensified the beauty.

LAST COLOURS

View all 15 photos...
Tragic Song

All still when summer is over

Stand shocks in the field,

Nothing left to whisper,

Not even good-bye, to the wind.

After summer was over

We knew winter would come:

We knew silence would wait,

Tall, patient calm.

And that cold this winter gray wolves

Deep in the North would cry

How summer that whispered all of us

At last whispers away.

- William Stafford

WALDORF SCHOOL IN AACHEN GERMANY

View all 18 photos...
Last weekend I visited my brother in Aachen (Aachen is a German city very close to the Netherlands and Belgium border).
He has to feed the sheep in his school (where he is a teacher) and he has shown me some classrooms.
In contrast to other schools you first notice a wonderful smell in the hall of some aromatic oils. (Unfortunately I cant send you this smell.)
I like the architecture there with a lot of light and beautiful colours.
In the garden with many wonderful old big trees you see a lot of things the pupils have made themselves.
The pupils like their sheep, which have anual lambs, only the gardening-teacher is not pleased if the sheep visit her garden...
